Eastern Floyd County in northwestern Texas...
Southwestern Motley County in northwestern Texas...
* Until 815 PM CDT.
* At 740 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles northeast of Dougherty, or 9 miles west of
Matador, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and grapefruit size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
eastern Floyd and southwestern Motley Counties, including the
following locations... Roaring Springs.
Instruction:
