At 1232 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Snook, or 13 miles south of College Station, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Southeastern College Station, Navasota, Snook, Millican, Anderson, and Independence.
