Description:
At 527 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Threeforks, or 10 miles west of Williamson, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Huddy, Meta, Jamboree, Pilgrim, Aluba, Piso, Betsy Layne, Edgarton,
Honaker, Jarad, Woodman, Threeforks, Forest Hills, Hatfield Station,
Justell, Heenan, Pleasant, Sidney, Naugatuck, and Canada.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
