Description:
At 139 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking decaying showers
with gusty winds moving through east central Kansas.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Automated Surface Observations.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lone Elm, Lebo, Gridley, Beto Junction, Harris, New Strawn, Neosho
Rapids, Emporia, Waverly, Greeley, Garnett, Americus, Burlington,
Olpe, John Redmond Reservoir, Colony, Le Roy, Hartford, and
Westphalia.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 35 between mile markers 128 and 155.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 117 and 133.
