Description:
At 549 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Higginsport,
moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to
vegetation.
Locations impacted include...
Minerva, Redoak, Lake Waynoka, Dover, Russellville, Ripley, Decatur,
Cherry Fork, South Ripley, Chatham, State Route 32 at US Route 62,
Stoney Point, Aa Highway at State Route 19, and Winchester.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for
northern Kentucky...and south central and southwestern Ohio.
