At 128 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lee's Summit, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Overland Park, Olathe, Baldwin Park, Spring Hill, Lee's Summit, Clare, Lake Winnebago, Lackmans, Strasburg, Stillwell, Odessa, Stanley, Unity Village, Leawood, Pittsville, Levasy, Lake Lotawana, Wellington, Lone Jack, and Greenwood. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 11 and 39. Interstate 35 in Kansas between mile markers 206 and 223. Interstate 470 between mile markers 0 and 16. Interstate 435 between mile markers 0 and 1, and between mile markers 65 and 83.
