At 421 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles southwest of Ashland, or 32 miles south of Colstrip, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Ashland, Birney Village and Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation.
