Description:
At 405 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Harmontown, or near John W Kyle State Park, moving southeast at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Blackwater, Teckville, Sardis, Burgess, Tyro, Glenville, College Hill
Station, Abbeville, College Hill, Harmontown, Hayes Crossing, John W
Kyle State Park, and Oxford.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
