Description:
At 656 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Yonkers to Riverdale to East Tremont to
Harlem. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Yonkers, Stamford, New Rochelle, White Plains, Mott Haven, East
Tremont, Port Chester, Glen Cove, Bergenfield, Rye, Great Neck,
Oyster Bay, Throgs Neck Bridge, RFK Bridge, and Harlem.
