At 643 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles southeast of Saint Stephen, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Saint Stephen, Bonneau, Jamestown, Bonneau Beach, Northern Lake Moultrie, Calestown, Beufordtown, Farewell Corner, Bethera and Alvin.
Instruction: 
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. If on or near Lake Moultrie, get out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
