Description:
At 1259 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles southeast of Columbus to 4 miles
southwest of Spartanburg to 4 miles north of Laurens to 14 miles
north of Greenwood to 13 miles south of Abbeville. Movement was east
at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Coronaca, Lake Bowen, Cross Hill, Ware Shoals, Lake Greenwood State
Park, Lake Greenwood, Cokesbury, Gaffney, Cowpens, and Enoree.
