Description: 
At 753 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Parma to 6 miles southwest of Qulin. Movement was east at 65 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Valley Ridge, Glennonville, Chalk Bluff Natural Area, Clarkton, Lorine, Chalk Bluff Battlefield Park, Baird, Pollard, Frisbee, McGuires, White Oak, Townley, Nimmons, Saint Francis, Bell City, Providence, St. Francis, Campbell, Morris State Park, and Wilhelmina.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel clouds. This type of cloud is harmless, but can on rare occasions they can briefly touch down producing with gusts over 50 mph. If a funnel cloud is spotted, move indoors and report your sighting to the National Weather Service.
