Description:
At 602 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bayou Current to near New Roads to 6 miles
west of Zachary. Movement was south at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Maringouin, Grosse Tete, Morganza, Brusly, Erwinville, Livonia,
Addis, Rosedale, Fordoche, Port Allen, Ramah, New Roads, Lottie,
Gardere, and Baton Rouge.
This includes the following Interstates...
Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 132 and 157.
Interstate 110 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 2.
