Description:
At 320 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from near De Soto to near Lecompton to near Maple Hill.
Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. Within the last hour, TOP ASOS and local
weather stations continue to report strong winds gusts to
50 mph.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Topeka, Tecumseh, Richland, Perry, Pleasant Grove, Eudora, Lone Star,
McLouth, Vinland, Lecompton, Pauline, Lawrence, Williamstown, Auburn,
Dover, Perry Lake, Oskaloosa, Clinton, Willard, and Meriden.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 between mile markers 346 and 355.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 159 and 205.
