At 144 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from 5 miles southwest of Tonganoxie to near Topeka to Volland. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. Several public weather stations and local ASOS stations have recorded wind gusts of 50-55 mph over the past few hours on the northern edge of showers. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Alma, Topeka, Maple Hill, Eskridge, Tecumseh, Richland, Perry, Eudora, Alta Vista, Dwight, Lecompton, Pauline, Lawrence, Williamstown, Auburn, Dover, Clinton, Willard, Grantville, and White City. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 between mile markers 308 and 355. Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 162 and 205.
