At 116 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from 6 miles east of Williamstown to near Volland. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. TOP ASOS has continued to gust upwards of 55 knots on the northern edge of showers. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Alma, Topeka, Maple Hill, Lecompton, Pauline, Tecumseh, Lawrence, Williamstown, Auburn, Dover, Clinton, Willard, Grantville, Silver Lake, McFarland, Clinton Lake, Keene, Perry, Berryton, and Volland. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 between mile markers 323 and 355. Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 168 and 205.
