At 509 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over West Peoria, or over Peoria, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Mossville, Spring Bay, West Peoria, Peoria International Airport, Cazenovia, Low Point, Bellevue, Washington, Norwood, Creve Coeur, Deer Creek, Peoria, Peoria Heights, Goodfield, Bay View Gardens, Metamora, Germantown Hills, Eureka, East Peoria, and Kickapoo. This includes the following highways... Interstate 474 between mile markers 0 and 8, and near mile marker 14. Interstate 74 between mile markers 81 and 99, and between mile markers 105 and 114.
