Expires:
April 21, 2025 - 5:00pm
Description:
Scattered thunderstorms moving southeast over much of North
Central and Central Montana east of the Rocky Mountain Front will
continue through at least the afternoon hours. These storms are
producing isolated cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, brief heavy
rainfall, wind gusts to 40 mph, and small hail or graupel.
These storms may also produce brief cold air funnels, which are
mostly harmless. However, if they briefly touch down as
landspouts, they may cause even stronger winds gusts or possibly
some minor damage to trees or structures. If you spot either of
these, move indoors until the storm passes, and we would
appreciate if you could report your sighting to the National
Weather Service.
