Description:
At 735 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Olustee to 4 miles northeast of Goodlett, moving
northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Altus, Olustee, Eldorado, Martha, Elmer, Friendship, Altus Air Force
Base, Humphreys, and Duke.
Instruction:
A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms.

building.
