* Until 500 PM MDT.
* At 355 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 19 miles east of
Arabela, or 28 miles northwest of Roswell, moving northeast at 15
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of North Central Chaves County.
This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 116 and 144.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
