At 249 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles south of
Pastura, or 15 miles east of Vaughn, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of West Central De Baca and Southwestern
Guadalupe Counties.
This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 279 and 295.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
