Description:
At 746 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles southeast of Cooperton to near Chattanooga to
3 miles south of Oklaunion, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Western Lawton, Vernon, Frederick, Cache, Electra, Snyder,
Grandfield, Chattanooga, Mountain Park, Indiahoma, Davidson,
Roosevelt, Manitou, Faxon, Hollister, Loveland, Meers, Tom Steed
Reservoir, Lockett, and Harrold.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
