Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest Louisiana, including the following
parish, Claiborne and northeast Texas, including the following
counties, Cherokee, Panola and Rusk.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water
crossings may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and thunderstorms containing heavy rainfall will
continue to move repeatedly across areas along the Interstate
20 corridor of East Texas, Northwest Louisiana, and extreme
SOuthern Arkansas through the overnight hours. Widespread
rainfall amounts of two to in excess of six inches have
already fallen across much of the Watch area, with additional
rainfall amounts of one to three inches, with isolated higher
amounts, possible through Thursday morning.
