* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The far southeast Panhandle and Rolling Plains of West Texas, including the following counties, Childress, Cottle, Crosby, Dickens, Garza, Kent, King, Motley and Stonewall. * WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A band of showers and thunderstorms are expected to move relatively slowly, and will be capable of very high rain rates. This combined with repeated training of storms over the same locations may result in flash flooding.
