* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northwest and the Panhandle of Texas,
including the following counties, in northwest Texas, Childress,
Cottle, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hockley, Kent, King,
Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Motley and Stonewall. In the Panhandle of
Texas, Briscoe, Castro, Hall, Parmer and Swisher.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Thunderstorms are expected to move relatively slowly, and
will be capable of very high rain rates. This combined with
repeated training of storms over the same locations may
result in flash flooding.
