Description:
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Haskell and Throckmorton.
* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Roadways may become flooded and impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Another round of thunderstorms is likely across the northern
Big Country tonight, falling across soils that are already
saturated from recent heavy rainfall. Storms tonight may
produce another 1 to 2 inches of rain, or above 3 inches in a
few locations. This rain will quickly run off into creeks and
streams. Fields will fill and flood across area roadways.
