Cherokee and Rusk Counties.
For the Mud Creek...including Jacksonville...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mud Creek near Jacksonville.
* WHEN...Until late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM CDT Thursday was 10.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 5.8 feet
Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

Instruction:
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
