Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing
For the Lower Mississippi River...including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena...
Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing.
* WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, In Mississippi, Charlie Lane is beginning
to flood, and JT's Bait Shop is inundated. Margie Road and the
north end of Bennie Lane are flooding. The west end of Betty Lane
is underwater. House lots south of Doris Lane are going
underwater. Candy Loop is being covered. Fields inside the levee
west of Hambrick road are flooded. The farmstead north of Blue
Point is flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 34.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM CDT Saturday was 35.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Tuesday morning and continue falling to 10.7 feet

- Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
