* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central and southern Oklahoma, including the
following counties, in central Oklahoma, Cleveland, Grady and
McClain. In southern Oklahoma, Garvin.
* WHEN...Until 815 PM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1253 PM CDT, the public reported heavy rain in the warned
area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Southeastern Oklahoma City, Norman, Moore, Newcastle,
Blanchard, Purcell, Noble, Tuttle, Slaughterville, Lindsay,
Lexington, Goldsby, Maysville, Dibble, Wayne, Washington,
Paoli, Cole, Etowah and Rosedale.
