Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, In Mississippi, water is going over
Charlie Lane. Smokey Lane is being covered. Lots on the east end
of Deer Crossing are flooding, and water is over the north end of
Sauger Lane.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 36.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM CDT Thursday was 36.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 10.8 feet Thursday,
May 15.
- Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
