* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Oklahoma, including the following counties, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa and Tillman and northern Texas, including the following counties, Hardeman and Wilbarger. * WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 705 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Altus, Quanah, Snyder, Tipton, Blair, Chillicothe, Olustee, Eldorado, Mountain Park, Manitou, Martha, Elmer, Headrick, Friendship, Humphreys, Altus Air Force Base, Odell, Fargo, Duke and Warren. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
