Advisory for the following rivers in Oklahoma...
Canadian River at Purcell affecting McClain, Pottawatomie and
Cleveland Counties.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Canadian River at Purcell.
* WHEN...From this morning to early Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Near bankfull levels occur along the river
on the Cleveland-McClain County border from near Noble... to areas
south of Purcell and Lexington.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 5.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Forecast...The Canadian River is expected to rise to a crest
of 11.3 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
- Action stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
