* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following counties, Long and McIntosh. * WHEN...Until 645 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 511 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated widespread thunderstorms with torrential rainfall extending from southeast Long County through much of McIntosh County. As much a 1 to 2 inches of rain has already fallen. An additional 1 to 2 inches could fall through 645 AM. The risk for minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas continues. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Darien, Tibet, Townsend, Eulonia, Cox, Carnigan, Ridgeville, Meridian, Valona and Wolf Island.
