Description: 
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Montana, including the following county, east central Carter. * WHEN...Until 400 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry coulees. Water over roadways, including highway 323. While precipitation has generally ended, it will take time for water to subside. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1209 AM MDT, The public reported flooding over Highway 323 south of Ekalaka. Photos also shows large amounts of hail fell with this storm that may clog culverts. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen in Northeast Carter county this evening. Small stream and low lying flooding is likely ongoing. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Speelmon Creek, North Slick Creek, Boxelder Creek, Middle Slick Creek, Spring Creek, Snow Creek, Big Ramme Creek, Little Ramme Creek, Harmon Creek and Coal Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive on or attempt to cross flooded roads, find an alternate route. Roads and driveways may be damaged or washed out in places. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency officials and request they pass the information to the National Weather Service in Billings.
