* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Montana, including the following county, east central Carter. * WHEN...Until 400 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry coulees. Roadways may be damaged by flowing water and plugged culverts. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1055 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Radar estimates between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Speelmon Creek, North Slick Creek, Boxelder Creek, Middle Slick Creek, Spring Creek, Snow Creek, Big Ramme Creek, Little Ramme Creek, Harmon Creek and Coal Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive on or attempt to cross flooded roads, find an alternate route. Roads and driveways may be damaged or washed out in places. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency officials and request they pass the information to the National Weather Service in Billings.
