* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, East Baton Rouge and West Baton Rouge. * WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1228 PM CDT, broadcast media reported flooding on and around the LSU campus. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - On and around the LSU campus is the most likely place to experience minor flooding. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Baton Rouge, Baker, Port Allen, Oak Hills Place, Merrydale, Westminster, Inniswold, Gardere, Brownfields, Village St. George, Shenandoah, Old Jefferson and Baton Rouge Airport. - This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 152 and 165. Interstate 12 between mile markers 1 and 6.
