The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northwestern Cooke County in north central Texas...
Montague County in north central Texas...
* Until 1045 AM CDT.
* At 751 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen this morning. 1 to 3 inches of rain fell across
this area last night and soils are saturated. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are forecast. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage and low lying areas.

Bowie, Nocona, Muenster, St. Jo, Lake Nocona, Lake Muenster,
Sunset, Lake Amon G Carter, Hubert H Moss Lake, Nocona Hills,
Montague, Bonita, Mallard, Capps Corner, Forestburg, Belcherville,
Bulcher, Illinois Bend, Fruitland and Spanish Fort.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
