Northwestern Potter County in the panhandle of Texas... * Until 800 PM CDT. * At 508 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area, including highway 287 south of Four Way. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 4 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Accumulating hail may increase the flood threat and lead to hazardous travel. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar.
