The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a
* Dust Storm Warning for...
Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...
* Until 415 PM MDT.
* At 258 PM MDT, an area of blowing dust was located over Hagerman,
or 20 miles southeast of Roswell.
HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with strong winds
in excess of 50 mph.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported that NM Route 2 from Navajo
Road to Felix Ranch Road, north of Hagerman, is closed
due to near zero visibility.
IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.
* Locations impacted include...
Dexter, Hagerman, Lake Arthur and Greenfield.
This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 82 and 95.
Instruction:
